Who am I? Just a guy from Somerset that narrowly avoided a Phd in Geology and a life in academia to travel the world and somehow make a living mucking about with cameras.
I'm a photographer, filmmaker, editor, copywriter, designer, gardener and sourdough apprentice, otherwise known as a jack of all trades.
For the last decade I've been the editor of Carve Surfing Magazine, the UK's biggest national print surf mag and a world renowned periodical. I made films, did interviews, edited eight issues a year, travelled and worked with a bunch of great people. I left in the spring of 2020 as 20 years at the surf industry coal face was more than enough and with the COVID restrictions my job was on pause. In that time I made films and did product shoots for Rip Curl, O'Neill, Monster, C-Skins and many more.
My work has appeared in The Observer, The Times, Daily Mail, Channel 4, Evening Standard, Rough Guides, Low-Pressure Guides, Footprint Guides, TSJ, Surfer, Surfing, ASL, Tracks, Wavelength and many more.
I've always been a freelance and now being full time I'm relishing the challenge of filming whatever clients desire. I'm happy shooting sport, education, brands, music and more.
Social wise I'm on Twitter and IG.
